Airlie Beach is the mainland gateway to the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef for dreamy island escapes and fabulous holiday experiences.
You will join an unforgettable journey to the most amazing locations in the Whitsundays - the area that is commonly known as the ‘100 magical miles’ and comprises of some 74 islands and inlets. This unspoilt island group is the most visited one in Australia and is known for its crystal clear waters, brilliant white sand beaches, spectacular coral reefs and majestic bush land.
On the morning of departure the friendly crew organises your transfer from local area accommodation directly to the 70 foot luxury cruising ship. Upon arrival, you settle into your private cabin and take in the atmosphere of relaxation, getting ready for the start of your dream island escape. As the ship embarks, the Whitsundays experience of a lifetime becomes reality.
Whilst cruising aboard the luxury ship, you visit some of the most beautiful and naturalistically interesting areas of the Whitsundays, such as Nara Inlet with its extraordinary rock faces and bushwalks to the aboriginal caves, South Molle Island’s famous forest tracks, the breathtaking snorkelling and dive spots of Cateran Bay on Border Island and the pure white silica sands of Whitehaven Beach. Your experience is filled with enjoyable activities, smiley moments and the feeling of never wanting to leave the wonders of Whitsunday Islands behind.
The destinations and activities mentioned in the itinerary are the main focus for each tour and the priority is in having them included. Please note that overnight tour itinerary is strongly affected by weather conditions, as tides, winds and general sea weather can change rapidly. Depending on the general course of the tour and commonly agreed wishes from the guest; snorkelling, kayaking or jet skiing in certain bays or scenic walks can be added to the itinerary. In case changes in the itinerary are necessary, the captain will decide upon the very best destinations for each day and give a general briefing to the guests at breakfast time.
2 Day 2 Night Cruise
Friday – Departure at 4pm from Abel Point Marina in Airlie Beach. Pick up from local area accommodation 3pm – 3.30pm when informed beforehand by the guest. We then head for Nara Inlet whilst you sit back and enjoy the start of your weekend getaway in the amazing sceneries. The evening is spent nestled in this spectacular inlet and you are served a three course dinner whilst watching the sun set in the western sky over the Australian mainland.
Saturday – After breakfast you can go for a walk to visit ancient aboriginal caves and take a relaxing round on the kayak. Morning tea is served enroute to Australia’s landmark beach Whitehaven. The landscape of this mountainous and ancient area leaves a great impression as you relax and unwind. At anchor off Whitehaven Beach you can go explore Hill Inlet in the high speed tender, take a scenic walk and relax on this amazing white silica sand beach. Lunch, afternoon tea and dinner will be enjoyed amongst the program during the day. Whitehaven Beach is the anchorage for the night.
Sunday – Breakfast is served enroute to Manta Ray Bay on the north east side of Hook Island. This small bay has some of the best snorkelling and diving in the area. The next stop is Langford Island with its coral sand beach and vegetation that gives it the feeling of both a continental island and a true coral cay. A late lunch is served before return to Abel Point Marina in Airlie Beach by 4pm.

DescaradA is Best Described as a Small Ship. Built in Hervey Bay Queensland Australia, DescaradA is in Queensland survey 2B for 9 passengers and 3 crew and in survey 1D for 38 passengers and 4 crew. The construction of the ship is steel hull with aluminium superstructure. DescaradA is powered by twin Gardner 150HP engines and cruises @ 9 knots. Built for long range charters, she is capable of cruising from Queensland Australia to Vancouver in Canada nonstop. She boasts full walk around capability on the mid deck level with a huge 6mt x 3mt rear deck level.
DescaradA comes complete with two kayaks, two 1500cc Kawasaki 3 seater jet skis, dive tank fill station, 3.4mt rigid inflatable tender with 6hp outboard and 6.5mt rigid inflatable boat with 150hp outboard.

Accommodation and Other Amenities
The motor yacht has recently undergone a major external and internal refit and has accommodation for eight passengers in three luxury double suites and one twin share bunk room, as well as crew quarters for four.
Fly Bridge Level
Consisting of one double and two single day beds, the area has a full bimini cover and its height allows a fantastic view over the ocean, thereby offering a great place for late afternoon champagne.
Mid Deck Level
Level includes a full kitchen, complete with coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave / convection oven, fridges and all items you would expect to find in a household kitchen. It also features an outdoor and indoor lounge area with flat screen TV/DVD, Apple iPod sound dock, AM/FM radio and CD player.
Accomodation Deck Level
Comprises of two ensuite double cabins, one double cabin and one twin berth bunk cabin, all with their own hot/cold wash basin. The level also has one separate bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet, crew quarters, cool room and dive tank fill station.
Water Entry
DescaradA has easy entry to the ocean with a 6mt x 1.5mt boarding platform at water level, complete with an easy access ladder. There is also a hot/cold deck shower. Crew

Proserpine Airport is located only 25km from Airlie Beach and has direct flights daily from Sydney and Brisbane. Hamilton Island Airport has daily direct flights from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Ferries operate from Hamilton Island to Airlie Beach regularly.

Payment
The Operator accepts Visa and Mastercard with no surcharges, AMEX with 3% surcharge.
A deposit is required at the time of confirmation to reserve your place.
The balance is payable 30 days prior to departure.
Cancellation
The initial deposit is non-refundable. In addition to forfeiting your deposit, the following charges also apply:
50% of the balance amount is reimbursed when cancellation is informed more than 33 days prior to departure. Cancellation after this period or failure to arrive for the cruise / charter will see all monies forfeited.
Liability and Insurance
Clients should be aware that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst the Operator makes every effort to safeguard guests, the Operator cannot be responsible for any damage, personal injury or loss due to the actions of passengers or due to other reasons that are beyond control. Dangerous jellyfish inhabit these waters and passengers should take care for their own safety. Passengers entering the water do so at their own risk and the owners and operators of the vessel will not be liable for any consequences whatsoever of the passenger been stung by jellyfish. To minimise the risk the Operator recommends that you wear a full length protective stinger suit while swimming, snorkelling and diving during the cruise. Onboard, passengers can choose either to use the provided stinger suits for free or to buy their own with a $30 charge. The Operator recommends that all passengers purchase relevant travel and cancellation insurance.

The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.
While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vessel. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.
Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
Booking information
To make a booking, you must complete our no-obligations reservations enquiry form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your enquiry, we will contact you via phone or email, to advise of availability and confirm the final price is correct - and discuss payment options. A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation notice and at this stage the deposit is processed on your credit card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.
Please note we accept Visa and Mastercard and the credit card fees are:
1) 1.75% for the deposit amount.
2) 1.75% for the balance of payment.
If you are booking via phone, please first make sure you have read the terms and conditions of your selected sailing adventure. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.
Information disclosure
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental, trip or charter services.
Amendments
Please check the terms of each vessel to see whether amendment fees apply. Please also note that for some vessels an amendment is treated as a new booking and the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). In the case of boat rental/yacht charter, if the hire or number of days is increased, an additional deposit may be required, while reduction in rental periods or price may reduce the total, but the deposit amount will remain unchanged.
Vessel Capacity and fitness to charter (for Bareboats only)
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vessel you charter is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of passengers allowed is indicated next to each vessel on this website. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A boat or trip supplier can refuse to hire a vessel to any person who is in their opinion unfit to skipper or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
